Dr. Eduard Tschopp acquired this mask from Maria Wyss in Basel and lent it in 1985 to the seminal exhibition Die Kunst der Guro, curated by Eberhard Fischer and Lorenz Homberger at the Rietberg Museum, Zürich.

Never published in color and hidden in Dr. Tschopp‘s notably private collection ever since, its rediscovery is a veritable addition to the corpus.
