This miniature of 19cm height is the work of a Hemba sculptor dating to the late 19th – early 20th century. Formelry part of the private collection of Jacques Kerchache and published in L‘Art Africain by Mazenod, it is a great pleasure to finally own it for a second time, as it is a sculpure that one never forgets.
